E-Valueトリマー ミリサイズ（6ｍｍ）をインチ（1/4）に変換してみた。
やってしまいました。
安かったので1/4インチサイズのビットを買ってしまいました。
軸径をよく確認せずに3個で約9000円分の買い物です。

軸径はミリサイズが6.0ｍｍに対しインチ1/4サイズは6.35mm。
0.35ｍｍの差ぐらい許容できるかもと思いましたが実際コレットチャックにはめてみると全くはまる気配がありません。無駄な買い物になってしまうのか？いやいやタダでは転びません！挑戦のネタ到来です。
ビットの軸を削ってみるかと思ったがかなり固そうな材質なので断念
次にコレットチャックの穴をドリルで広げるか考えましたが失敗するとミリサイズ6mmコレットチャックも使用不能になります。
ネットで色々調べるとインチに変換できるコレットチャックがあるではありませんか！
しかし、私の使っているトリマーは格安DIY向けイーバリューのEWT-450Nです。残念ながらプロユースの物ではなくアクセサリーもほとんど出ていません。探しましたがインチ変換コレットチャックも見つかりませんでした。
他のサイトで他メーカのコレットチャックを流用している方がいました。しかし使っているのは一流メーカー同士でコレットチャックの形状も似ています。でもまあとりあえずイーバリューで試してみることにしました。

コレットチャックを外します
形が全く違います。
重ねてみると直径は合いそうです。
あれこれ考えるのも大事ですがとりあえずはめて締め代とテーパーの当たり具合を見てみましょう。
まずイーバリュー純正
次にリョービ
ちゃんとはまります。締め代も十分あります。テーパーの当たりはたぶん大丈夫。
日本の工業製品はだいたい規格で同じテーパー角度を使ってるものです。
で、リョービ1/4インチコレットチャックに実際に1/4インチビットをつけてみます。
しっかり締め込みちゃんと取り付けられました。ガタやビットが斜めになることもありません。
続いて無負荷試運転。
音も振動もとくに異常ありません。見た目では芯振りもありません。
負荷をかけたらどうでしょう？
板の側面に溝を掘ってみます。
快調にもりもり溝を切ってい行きます。新ブレなどのキックバックも感じられません。
きれいに溝切できました。
その後ビットの緩みなども確認しましたが特に緩むこともありませんでした。
インチサイズのビットは通販で結構安く手に入るので便利です挑戦した甲斐がありました。
しかし、正規の使い方ではありませんのでビットが折れたり外れたりしてぶっ飛ぶかもしれません。このブログを参考にする場合は防具を装着し十分注意の上、自己責任でお願いします。

アメリカ人のマイケルから教えてもらったアメリカンパイの店
”SWEET LADY JANE スイート・レディ・ジェーン”
に行ってきました。

サッポロファクトリーの道路挟んで北側の北3条通りに面していて、ピンクとブルーのツートンカラーにアメリカの旗がなびいています。
夏季は扉が開け放たれオープンカフェのようになっています。

店内はパイ、ケーキ、焼き菓子、ドリンクの他雑貨などアメリカン小物なども置いてありました。

また、イートインがありカフェ利用もできます。

このお店はアメリカ西海岸で学びキャリアを積んだオーナーが作るアメリカンなケーキと焼き菓子のお店です。ケーキ屋さんはそう珍しくもないのと、マイケルからの調査依頼により今回私はアメリカンパイを食べてみることにしました。
アメリカンパイの種類としては札幌では多い方ですよね。ミートパイなどではなくスウィートなパイのみです。

午後5時ころの訪問でしたがちらほら売り切れあり。
色々な素材を生かしたパイが陳列されています。お値段はフルーツケーキファクトリーと同じくらいの感じです。
私は時間の都合上イートインではなくお持ち帰りにしました。

今回選んだのは黒大豆のチーズパイ（珍しいと思ったから）とクランベリーパイ（ベリー類好きだから）です。

クリームチーズに黒大豆ペーストが乗っています。ずっしり重みがあります中身詰まっています。アメリカのパイということでかなりの甘さを覚悟していましたが甘みは抑えられ素材の味や香りを感じられる甘さです。

続いてクランベリーパイ Then cranberry pie
こちらもずっしり詰まっています。食べ応えあります。
味はやはり甘みが抑えられ素材の味が出ていて程よい酸味で日本市場向けです。私は甘み抑えたこの味の方が好きです。本家アメリカ人には物足りないかもしれません。

エルゴヒューマン 背もたれ修理 DIY
2009年にエルゴヒューマンのブラント（今は廃止されてるモデル？）というオフィスチェアーを通販で買いました。
ハーマンミラーの様なメッシュ素材の立体的な造形の座面や背もたれ、そして先進的なかっこいいデザインそして安い！
通販で届いた実物は細かいところはチープですがなかなか座り心地もよく蒸れません。安いので満足してましたが3年ほどたったある日、背もたれを倒して寄りかかると
バキ！
という破壊音とともに背もたれの角度がさらにたおれました。
背もたれを元に戻そうとしても元の位置まで戻りません。
この椅子は背もたれ角度を3段階で固定できるのですが一番立てた状態でも中断くらいの角度にしかなりません。
保証もちょうど切れたてなので、しばらく我慢して使っていました。
ちょっと時間ができたので分解してみて、可能なら修理しようとトライしてみました。
豆に写真撮ってないのでいきなり分解写真ですが、座面下のプラスチックカバーを開けてみると背もたれを支えているのは2本の細いシャフトです。直径は10mmでした。背もたれのフレームの頑丈そうなデザインに比べると華奢に見えます。
そしてすぐに故障原因が判明しました！
シャフトがぱっくり折れています。
さらにアップで。
アルミ製のバスタブ型フレームに直接タップ立てて鋼製ボルトをねじ込んで支えている構造ですね。10mmのシャフトにM6のねじが切ってあり背もたれフレームを支えているようです。
背もたれの高さと支点の位置関係、アルミに直接タップをたてM6のネジで支えるなんて設計的にかなり無理があるように思えます。
反対側はどうでしょう。折れてはいないようです。
片側に力が掛ったこともありすでにタップはむしれてがたがたです。このまま組み立てることは不可能です。
ボルトは見事に折れてます。M6ネジ部の根元でぽっきり。
そりゃあ折れますよね、背もたれの高さ、てこの原理、応力集中、M6ネジの谷の直径は5ｍｍ以下ですから。
さて問題はどう修理しますか・・・
アルミのフレーム部分を外しタップ部分をチェックします。
両サイドとも再生不能です。M10にサイズアップしてタップを立て直そうにもタップ部の板厚も7ｍｍ程度しか無いので当然強度が持ちません。
しかしアルミにタップを直接建てる場合は鋼板より強度が劣る分板厚を増やしてねじ込み深さを確保するのですが、これは鋼製1種ナットと同じくらいしかありません。
アルミなので自宅DIYで溶接することもできないしどうしたものか。
ググってみると修理に出したらユニット交換が必要といわれ、買う分ぐらいかかるとブログに書いている人もいました。

そんなコストはかけられません。
折れたシャフトはちょうど10ｍｍだったのでM10のボルトを代用しアルミのフレーム部は3種ナットで代用及び補強することにしてみました。
ジョイフルAKでM10ボルトを調達。
タップは立てずに3種ナットで代用。何とか隙間にはまりそうです。
壊れたタップ穴は10mmで通し穴をあけてナットを内側にあてがいます。
さすがにそのままでは入らないのでナットを削って小さくしました。
そして、こんな感じにはめ込みます。周りを少し削りました。
背もたれをロックする機構をつけると少し干渉するので削りながら位置合わせ。
次に、ボルトをフレームに通し、アルミのフレームを内と外からナットで挟み込み固定します。
後は元通り組み立てて背もたの部分はこれで完了。
しかし、分解中にもう一つ不具合が発覚しました。
リクライニングの反発する強さを調整できるノブがあるのですがこれが効いているのか効いてないのか分からない状態でした。背もたれ修理のためスプリング部分をばらしたのですが衝撃の事実が・・・
この椅子は、スプリングを支える台座がテーパー形状になっておりノブを回すとスライドして台座の高さが変わる機構になっていました。しかしばらしてみると、
粉々に壊れています。
部品はプラスチック製でそれにグリスがたっぷり塗ってありました。強度不足でしょうか？耐油性のプラスチックじゃないんでしょうか？わかりませんがとにかく再生不能でした。
幸いこの椅子は背もたれ角度のロック機能がありますからスプリング強さの機能は廃止することにしました。
とりあえずしばらくはこのまま使えそうです。
外見はかっこいいのですが、中身はどうでしょー。素材も設計も加工もすべてにおいてコストを掛けないちーぷなつくりにみえます。安いのには理由があるのですね。世の中そうゆうもんです。
今のモデルはたぶんガッチリ改良されているんでしょうね、そう信じたいです。
しかしわたしは次買うときは地味でも作りのいいやつ買います。
簡単すぎるヘルシー野菜の黒酢漬け Too easy！ Pickled vegetables
私は毎日自炊しています。

健康も考え色々な種類の生野菜を取ろうとして買い物しますが、お一人様の身であるため一度に食べる量が限られていることもあり野菜が残りがちになります。

冷蔵庫に入れておいても鮮度は落ち風味も落ちますし、酵素神話に取りつかれているため熱も通したくありません。

作り方をググッてみましたところわりと簡単です。しかし気になったところが・・・

今回はただの付け合わせで少量食べるのが目的ではなく冷蔵庫内保存で熱を通さずに保存し通常の野菜として食べたいというのが目的なので食べる量も付け合わせより多めです。

それならと酢のみで漬けてみようと試してみました。

作り方 How to make
1. プチトマトはヘタを取って洗う
2. そのほかの野菜は角切り（スプーンですくいやすい）
3. お洒落な容器がないので適当なタッパーなど密閉可能で清潔な容器に野菜を入れる

4. 黒酢（何酢でもOK）と水を1：1で割り素材が埋まるくらい入れる。黒酢100％だと酸っぱすぎるしコストも高くつく。酢が薄くなると保存性は落ちるだろうが常温保存はしないので薄い酢で十分と考える。たぶん。

酢の選定理由
黒酢を選んだ理由は安くて体に良気がする事と、リンゴ酢が売り切れ（前日にテレビでリンゴ酢が健康、ダイエットに良いとかやってたから？）

札幌駅近く東急デパートの裏、ファミマの隣にあります。外観はあまり目立ちませんね。スモークのウインドウショッピングは中の様子も適度に見え、奇をてらった派手さもなく入りやすいと思います。

店内はシックなモノトーンな壁と高い天井から観葉植物がディスプレイされています。落ち着いていて、静かな雰囲気でした。また、観葉植物はイミテーションで本物ではありません。そのため観葉植物にはつきものの小さな虫などは皆無です。

- 夜寝る前に歯を磨いたら寝る直前に綿棒などで傷口に塗ります。塗り方は傷口にたっぷり乗っけるようなイメージです。就寝中は唾液が少なくなるので薬が落ちにくいです。
- 出来れば朝昼夜と3回ほど塗りましょう。傷口が治ったら口内炎も防止完了です。

歩道から直接地下に入れます。階段を下るとサラリーマン御用達っぽい居酒屋や食堂が並び昭和な雰囲気。本当にあるの？不安です。どんどん奥まで進むとありました！

Put in the basement directly from the sidewalk. When you go down the stairs, there are many shops and restaurants. Is there really? I am anxious. If you go all the way, there have been!

店内は無垢材を使った温かみあるインテリア。ライティングも落ち着きがありつつ暗すぎない丁度よい加減で通路側壁にある窓の効果か地下にありがちな閉塞感も感じません。居心地よいです。
Warm interior with solid wood in store. The brightness of the light is calm but not too dark It is just fine. I do not feel the effect of the window on the side wall of the aisle or the feeling of obstruction which tends to be in the basement. Comfortable is good.
このお店のインテリアはDIYの参考になる物がたくさんありました。カウンターやテーブル、壁の角にある木のモザイクタイルなどDIY好きな方はぜひ行ってみてください。
The interior of this shop had lots of things to be helpful for DIY. Counters, tables, wooden mosaic tiles at the corners of the wall, etc. If you like DIY please try going.

ウォーターサーバーほしくなりました。楽天市場で調べたらありましたので買おうか検討中です。
I wanted a water server. I have examined it on the Rakuten Market, so I'm considering buying it.

そしてやっとメニューの話です。

サンドイッチ中心としてスープとスウィーツもそろってます。
サンドイッチは新鮮野菜をふんだんに使ったヘルシーな物ですね。私の好きな体に悪そうな油にまみれた肉メニューはありません。
スープはHOTと冷製スープがあります。旬の野菜を使ったスープもあります。
The restaurant also have soup and sweets as sandwich center.
Sandwiches are healthy items with plenty of fresh vegetables. There is no meat menu covered with bad oil in your body.
Soup has two types of HOT and cold. There is also a soup menu using seasonal vegetables.
私の選択は少しでも肉ということで、チキンの入ったサンドイッチとコーンの冷製スープです。
My choice is sandwich with chicken and cold soup of corn.
サンドイッチ、野菜たっぷりです。いくら食べても罪悪感は生まれないでしょう。
冷製スープはコーンの粒をあえて残しつぶつぶ食感で甘みがありおいしいです。
それに、器や小物もおしゃれです。
Sandwiches, plenty of vegetables. No matter how much you eat, you will not feel guilty.
The cold soup dares to leave grains of corn dense and has a sweetness with a mouth feeling and it is delicious.
And, tableware is also fashionable.
次はドリンクとデザートです。

レモネード。ちゃんとコストかけてますねたぶん。

デザートはフレンチトースト。写真撮り忘れてちょっと食べてますが。
Dessert is French toast. I forgot to take a picture and ate a little.
このフレンチトースト結構なボリューム感です。これ一つでおなか一杯になる人もいると思います。
トッピングのアイスクリームはこだわりのある上質の物（ベルギー産？うろ覚え）を使ってるそうです。これだけで主役級ですね。
This French toast is a fair volume sense. I think I will be full with this one.
The topping ice cream seems to be using high-quality things (Belgium? Forgot?). It is protagonists in this alone.
軽めのランチのつもりで行きましたがこれだけ注文するとおなかいっぱいです。お値段も予算オーバーになりましたが。
I went with aiming for a light lunch but I am full of orders if only this one is ordered. The price was over budget, though.
居心地もよいのでぜひ再訪したいです。
It is comfortable, so I definitely want to visit again.
手で食べるメニューなので手洗い場があるとうれしいですね。私は手前にある昭和感漂うトイレで手をあらかじめ洗ってゆきました。
